FCA Asset Management Market Study

In response to the Financial Conduct Authority’s Asset Management Market Study, 7IM is making some changes to its fund documentation. These changes will be effective from 07 August 2019 and will:

  • clarify and explain the objectives and policies of each Fund; giving more explanation about how the funds are run and providing more detail in a new Investment Strategy section; and
  • provide a benchmark which can be used to compare the Fund’s performance against. (For most of our funds this was already in the Factsheet but, is now explicitly included in the Prospectus and the KIID, as required by the FCA Rules).


The changes will be made to the Prospectus, KIIDs and in due course, to the fund Factsheets. These can be found in the usual place on our Literature section.


None of the changes to the documents will affect the way in which the Fund are managed and investors in these funds do not need to take any action.

We will be writing all investors during August to tell them about these changes. The Letter will refer to the comparative Objectives and Policies which we will be including for each fund by clicking on the funds below (these will be live once the letter's are posted):
