7IM SIPP Contributions
Everything you need to know to maximise your clients’ pension contributions into our SIPP.
New clients
You can use our online application tool to open new SIPP accounts for clients quickly and without any paper. Please view the video to find out how to do this.
Please open all new accounts by Wednesday 31 March.
Cash should then be transferred to our SIPP bank account by Wednesday 31 March.
Junior SIPP
A child under 18 can open a junior SIPP wrapper and contribute up to £2880 (net). This wrapper is linked to a parent’s 7IM account and therefore that parent needs to have a 7IM GIA or SIPP open first. If they don’t they can use our online application tool to open an account quickly and without any paper. Please view the video to find out how to do this.
To open the Junior SIPP wrapper please complete our 7IM SIPP application form and once completed, email the completed form to postroom@7im.co.uk by Monday 29 March.
Cash should then be transferred to our SIPP bank account using the payment details below by Wednesday 31 March.
Where possible please ask clients to send money to us electronically by bank transfer to the account below. This avoids the need for post and the money will therefore be available sooner to invest. Where clients do have to send cheques, please see the details below.
To ensure we can identify the payment, please quote your 7IM SIPP reference when making your payments online.

Further information
Please note that all forms can be signed electronically by your client using a recognised e-signature system such as Docusign or Adobe sign.
Bed & SIPP
Please contact us if you wish pension contributions to be funded from a GIA or ISA with 7IM. You will need to complete one of the above contribution forms. You will also need to ensure that there is sufficient cash with any sales settled by this date as we cannot action an in-specie contribution.
Minimum top ups
The minimum top up is £1000 so don’t forget that eligible non-earners (including children) can still contribute £2880 (net) into a pension.
Carry Forward
If a client wishes to make use of a previous year’s annual pension allowance, in addition to their current year allowance, then please confirm the details of this when sending us the relevant contribution form.
Tax Relief
Remember that we will credit tax relief immediately on all relevant net member contributions so you will be able to invest the full gross amount.
Contribution Lists
If you need a list of all your clients’ 7IM SIPP contributions in the current tax year, please let us know.
