Financial Planning Director

Hugh joined 7IM as a Financial Planning Director in May 2025. He is Chartered FSCI and has 23 years’ experience within financial services and the private client sector, having worked at various UK wealth management firms and private banks, including HSBC Private Bank, Standard Charted Bank and most recently at Evelyn Partners.

His expertise in estate planning, inheritance tax mitigation and a variety of other areas has helped him support individuals and their families in achieving their financial and personal goals. Building long-term client/adviser relationships, which often develop into a friendship as well as a professional working relationship, is one of the main aspects drawing Hugh to this role.

Outside of work, Hugh is very much a family man; he is married and has two teenage daughters, a chocolate Labrador and a cat. When time permits, he enjoys fast cars, snowboarding, fishing, shooting and golf.
